Our Mission
Artificial Pieces (AP) is an art gallery providing custom and original artwork by local and distant artists. We also provide a custom framing service and custom artwork. Our mission is to bring modern artwork to the southwest in various mediums, to provide excellent customer service, and to assist other talented artists in achieving their dreams.
Owners
AP was established in 2005 by Tarik and Lourie Booze. They are Air Force veterans who chose Alamogordo, New Mexico as their home. After attending a Dream Makers 99 seminar given by Dr. Mikel Brown, they decided to persue their dream by starting an art gallery. Artist, Tarik Booze, is from Macon Georgia and has been producing art for over 20 years. His skill in drawing birthed the idea of AP. Tarik's wife, Lourie Booze, is from Killeen, Texas and has worked as an administrative professional for 10 years. By putting together their skills, experience, and drive, they have turned a dream into reality.
